Product Introduction
The fiber coil is the core component of any fiber optic gyroscope, and Company adopts high-performance independent fiber coils. Wound by 16-pole, 8-pole, or 4-pole symmetric winding methods, the independent structure eliminates fixture-induced strain on the fiber. As ambient temperature varies, the symmetric winding reduces Shupe error to a minimum. Coils wound with small-diameter (135 μm or 100 μm) PM fiber are also well suited to compact FOGs.
