The Single Mode 980/1550 Wavelength Division Multiplexer (WDM) is a passive optical component designed to combine or separate optical signals of 980 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths within a single optical fiber. It enables efficient wavelength multiplexing and demultiplexing in Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFAs), fiber laser systems, and WDM communication networks.
