The high-hydroxy large-core diameter fiber is stable in devices and systems operating in the UV and near-UV bands; the 105 to 800-μm core diameter provides high coupling efficiency in data connections or other connectors, reducing the cost of equipment and components. Optimized for 200nm to 700nm operating wavelengths, it offers very low attenuation and high bandwidth.
